Just a quick note to say we’re back from sunny France. We had a very relaxing week away in the sun, unfortunately it was raining on the way back and we were very tired from travelling. We’re just about recovered now, just in time to head down to London for the weekend to see Kieran, Becca’s brother, play in one of the Proms concerts on Saturday night in the Royal Albert Hall.
On another note, I only have 5 and a half weeks left at CCL Computers. I’m leaving on 9th September, having a couple of weeks off and then heading back to Uni!

Just a quick note to say we’re off on holiday next week. We’re heading down to Gorron, near Mayenne, again on Sunday. Hopefully the weather will be fine, as it is here, and we can get out and enjoy the French style of life - much slower than here in England!

We have now moved into our new house and we’re pretty much sorted. Everything went fairly smoothly apart from moving the phone line.
We arranged the line and broadband to be moved at the beginning of June, well in advance. When we moved in there was no active line at all. After several long phone calls we eventually got BT to agree to sending an engineer out this afternoon. The engineer turned up early and quickly discovered the line was not wired correctly at the exchange end. 20 minutes later and we have a working phone line and 2MB broadband! Very happy with the outcome
