I officially finished at CCL last Friday (9th). I received lots of goodies, one of which was a carry case for Holly. This has been very useful already and hopefully will be throughout my final year at Uni.
I’ve had a great time at CCL and learnt a lot, I will miss several people there as well as getting computer kit at cost price!
I have now got until 26th September to get various things in order before starting back at Uni - One of these is my final year project. I have a few ideas floating about which I will need to research further - Wish me luck!!

I have added some new photos to the scenery album. These include some photos from France and our trip to Treak Cliffe Cavern yesterday.
On another note, I am finishing at CCL on 9th September and heading back to uni at the end of the month. There happens to be a works do on 10th September, Becca and I will be attending

Just a quick note to say we’re back from sunny France. We had a very relaxing week away in the sun, unfortunately it was raining on the way back and we were very tired from travelling. We’re just about recovered now, just in time to head down to London for the weekend to see Kieran, Becca’s brother, play in one of the Proms concerts on Saturday night in the Royal Albert Hall.
On another note, I only have 5 and a half weeks left at CCL Computers. I’m leaving on 9th September, having a couple of weeks off and then heading back to Uni!

Becca received her results for her degree last Wednesday. She was awarded a 2-1 with an average of 65 for her final year modules and 78 for her final year project. An award for ‘Best Brass Player of the Year’ also had her name on it. Needless to say we’re all very pleased!
Due to my placement not being complete as yet, I haven’t received my results for this year. I believe I will be able to request them shortly after completing my placement.

I have my final placement visit tomorrow. I imagine the main topic of conversation will be my final year project. I had an idea at the weekend which I believe strikes a good balance between research and business thinking. I won’t give anything away though just incase it all goes to pot tomorrow!
On another note, it’s results days tomorrow and Wednesday. Becca will be collecting her results on Wednesday (the arty farty day!). Hopefully we’ll be celebrating
Nothing much else is happening, we’re just in limbo while we wait to move house at the end of the month.
